How to Play Christian Music on Alexa
You can listen to the best Christian bands
with your Amazon Alexa Echo Dot, Echo Show, Echo Studio, or Sonos smart speaker by simply saying "Alexa, play DOC Radio" or schedule your wake-up music with "Alexa, wake me up at 8 AM with
DOC Radio". You may need to spell out D-O-C. In some cases you may need to say "Alexa, play D oh C Radio on TuneIn".
How to Set Up a Custom Alexa Voice Routine
If those phrases don't work for you, make your own Alexa command to play Christian radio stations, like DOC Radio:
- Open the Alexa app on your phone.
- Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the
top left corner, then select Routines.
- Tap the + icon in the top right corner to create a new routine.
- Tap Add an Event, then choose Voice.
- Enter a phrase like "Play the dock", then tap Next in the top right corner.
- Tap Add an Action, then Music & Podcasts.
- In the text field, type DOC Radio Christian Hits.
- Check the Provider box and select the free TuneIn radio streaming service.
- Tap Next, then tap Save.
Now your devices with Amazon Alexa will play your favorite contemporary Christian music station anytime you say "play the dock".
How to Set Up a Sleep Timer on Alexa
