☰Put DOC Radio in your room.
Experience DOC Radio in a whole new way with our WebXR mixed-reality experience. Using a compatible VR headset, you can place a virtual DOC Radio radio directly into your real-world surroundings and listen to DOC Radio while using other apps or games.
Choose between two DOC Radio designs:
Point at the radio and hold the trigger button to move it around your room. You can lower it onto a table or shelf and leave it wherever you want.
You can also click the radio briefly to stop and restart DOC Radio.
The virtual radio isn't fixed in one location. Pick it up, move it around your room, and place it on a table, shelf, or other surface. The radio becomes part of your physical surroundings while you listen to DOC Radio.
We're working toward an upgraded version of the DOC Radio XR experience that will allow DOC Radio to continue playing audio no matter which VR or spatial application you are using. Keeping the virtual radio and its audio active alongside other immersive applications is the priority for our ongoing development.
The goal is for DOC Radio to remain with you throughout your time in the headset. You could be playing table tennis, billiards, exploring another virtual world, or using any other VR or spatial application, while DOC Radio continues playing from a virtual radio in your real-world surroundings.
Visit this page with the Browser app on a supported VR headset* and select Enter VR/AR Mode.
*We've tested the experience on Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3, PICO 4, and PICO 4 Ultra. It has generally run more smoothly on the Quest headsets, with some differences and limitations on the PICO devices.
