Amanda Danziger Biography
Amanda Danziger is a Christian independent singer-songwriter and visual artist from Pennsylvania who channels her spiritual journey into her music and art. As a first-generation American with Egyptian-Coptic roots, Amanda's love for music was nurtured in the church her father founded, where she began leading worship at age 12. Her music, produced by childhood friend Filipe Michael, reflects her trials and triumphs, especially after a life-altering hospital experience. "I've discovered through my trials that the flesh is weak, but there is so much strength within God," she shares. "Music has become therapy for me. My heart sings things that need to be let out, and my mind is connecting and finding a deeper foundation."
Danziger's discography includes her debut EP Head & Heart (2019) and subsequent singles: "The Only" (2020), "Intercede," "How Long," and "Don’t Look Back" (2021). Her 2022 Seasons EP is a collaborative project with Filipe Michael, exploring life and faith through the changing seasons. Released throughout the year, the EP features "Vindicate" (January 21), "Prison Walls" (April 29), and "Refining Fire" (August 12), culminating in the full project on November 4, which includes the introductory track "Seasons" and closing with "Be Still." Each Seasons song is composed in a cinematic style, beginning with a distinctive sound to evoke the season. In her own words, "I write music to connect people to God and to each other through stories and songs."
Amanda's music is recognized for blending worship, indie, and folk influences into beautifully crafted songs. She also integrates video and photography into her work, creating a unified artistic expression. Her ability to blend personal spirituality with artistic expression is central to her work, as evidenced by her discography and visual art. ~docradio.org
