Amanda Lindsey Cook Biography


Amanda Lindsey Cook, also known as Falcon, is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and contemporary Christian musician. Born Amanda Lindsey Falk on May 8, 1984, in Niverville, Manitoba, Canada, she has made significant contributions to the music industry.

Cook's recording career began with her self-titled debut album, "Amanda Falk," released in 2004 under Winnipeg label Avante Records. Her second album, "Beautiful," followed in 2007. During this period, she was also part of the Beautiful Unique Girl Movement. Cook's third album, "In Between the Now & Then," was released on March 1, 2010, under the record label Signpost Music.

In 2010, she joined the Bethel Music collective and became a worship leader at Bethel Church in Redding, California. Under the name "Amanda Lindsey Cook," she released her first studio album, "Brave New World," in 2015 through Bethel Music. The album received the Inspirational Album of the Year award at the 2016 GMA Dove Awards. Cook's second album with Bethel Music, "House on a Hill," was released on March 29, 2019.

Most recently, Cook has released the album "Nova" in 2020, under the name Falcon, and 2022's "State of the Union." Amanda currently resides in Los Angeles.

Musically influenced by artists like Sarah McLachlan, Nichole Nordeman, Norah Jones, and John Mayer, Amanda Lindsey Cook continues to inspire listeners with her heartfelt music and powerful vocals.
