Christine D'Clario (born September 7, 1982) is an American Christian music singer, songwriter, and worship leader. Her music, rich with themes of God's goodness, redemption, and grace, blends contemporary worship with Latin rhythms. Known for her spectacular voice and songwriting skills, she has released seven albums, primarily in Spanish.
Born in Yonkers, New York, D'Clario moved to Puerto Rico with her family following her father's death when she was just six years old. Though involved in church, she describes herself as a "Sunday morning Christian" until a transformative experience in 2003, where she felt God's presence and realized His constant watch over her. This encounter sparked a deep healing journey, detailed in her book, The Prodigal Heart, leading her out of depression and suicidal thoughts. This newfound faith became the driving force in her music.
Immersed in music from a young age, D'Clario won first place at the prestigious World Song Festival (formerly known as the OTI Festival) in 2004, competing against entries from nearly 30 countries. She has also been nominated for two GMA Dove Awards. Her highest charting album, the live recording Eterno Live, was released in September 2015, followed by her second live album, Emanuel, in September 2018. Notably, she also released a well-received English-language album, "Deeper," in February 2013, filled with relevant reminders of the joys of being in God’s presence.
She currently resides in Dallas, Texas, with her husband Carlos Caban and their 2 children.
