David Kushner is an American Christian alternative/indie singer-songwriter born on September 6, 2000 (age 25), in Chicago, Illinois. His Christian faith significantly influences his music, with themes reflecting his spiritual beliefs and personal experiences. Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Kushner is currently based in Los Angeles.
Kushner began his musical career early, writing songs with a close friend while living in Florida. He gained recognition with his single "Mr. Forgettable" in January 2022. His debut EP, Footprints I Found (2022), included tracks such as "Mr. Forgettable" and "Burn," showcasing his ability to blend emotional depth with engaging melodies.
He released the widely popular single "Daylight" on April 14, 2023, which has seen over 1 billion plays just on Spotify alone. His music is characterized by introspective lyrics and a distinctive deep baritone vocal style, addressing themes of personal struggle, resilience, and faith.
