Jesus Culture Biography
Jesus Culture is a global Christian movement centered around worship & discipleship that emerged from the youth group at Bethel Church, Redding, California. Formed in the summer of 1999, they have grown into a community of worship leaders, musicians, and believers dedicated to encountering God's love.
The movement's music, produced under the label Jesus Culture Music, is a blend of original and cover songs performed by the Jesus Culture Sacramento band. With a focus on igniting revival and cultivating a lifestyle of worship, their music has garnered significant recognition, including a Grammy nomination for their 2018 album, Living With a Fire.
Since their debut album in 2005, Jesus Culture has released numerous live albums and solo artist projects, consistently sharing their message of God's love and power through music. Their impact extends beyond music, as they host events worldwide and are committed to equipping a generation to transform society through their faith.
Current members of Jesus Culture Music include Derek Johnson, Chris McClarney, Chris Quilala, and Bryan & Katie Torwalt. Past members include Jeffrey Kunde, Brandon Aaronson, Ian McIntosh, Josh Fisher, Kristene DiMarco, Justin Jarvis, Melissa How, and Kim Walker-Smith.
