Phil King Biography


Phil King is a passionate Christian songwriter and worship leader born and raised in a small town in California's Central Valley. With a versatile musical style and soulful voice, Phil uses his deep love for God and commitment to the Church to invite a diverse audience to experience God. He is the inaugural artist for Euphonic City, a label co-founded by his longtime mentors Paul Wright and Jennie Lee Riddle. Phil’s upcoming fifth record, slated for release in 2024, marks his debut with Euphonic City, featuring a series of singles leading up to a full 14-track album.

His ministry began as the worship leader at Christ for the Nations in Dallas, TX. Later, he served as a worship pastor at Gateway Church. Recently, Phil and his wife relocated to Amarillo, TX, where they actively serve at Trinity Fellowship Church while raising their young twins.

Known for impactful songwriting, Phil has penned multilingual anthems like "So Worthy" and performed "Not Forgotten" at Focus on the Family's event "Alive From New York," attended by over 20,000 people in Times Square, supporting the pro-life movement.

Phil frequently collaborates with renowned artists like Michael W. Smith, Jekalyn Carr, and Danny Gokey. His songwriting credits extend to artists like Leeland, Matt Redman, and Christine D’Clario, showcasing his influence in contemporary Christian music. Above all, Phil's greatest joy lies in leading worship alongside fellow believers who are spreading the Gospel globally, sharing, "I love the harvest field!"
