Who is Sarah Kroger?
Sarah Kroger is a GMA Dove Award®-nominated artist, songwriter, and worship leader known for her thoughtful, prayerful approach to worship music. Her body of work includes Your Time (2011), Hallelujah Is Our Song (2013), Bloom (2019), Light (2020), London Sessions (2023), A New Reality (2024), A New Reality (Deluxe Edition) (2024), and A New Reality: Acoustic Sessions (2025), released through Integrity Music.
Raised in a home where worship ministry was part of daily life, Kroger’s love for music began at an early age. However, the impact of bullying, along with anxiety and shyness, led her to keep her musical gifts hidden for years. Everything changed after an intimate encounter with Jesus through worship at a youth conference. “Worship became my language with God,” she explains. “It allowed me to communicate with the Lord in a way I hadn’t experienced before. It opened my heart.”
Recognizing music as a gift she desired to offer back to the Lord, Kroger began leading worship around the world, drawing people from a wide range of cultures and church backgrounds under the banner of Jesus. With a consistent focus on creating safe and prayerful spaces, her music reflects an authentic portrayal of her relationship with God.
Released on May 17, 2024, A New Reality marked a significant chapter in her artistry. The project explores themes of suffering, questions, and silence, inviting listeners to engage deeply with their faith. Later that year, A New Reality (Deluxe Edition) expanded on the original release, followed in 2025 by A New Reality: Acoustic Sessions, which offered stripped-back recordings that highlight the intimacy and honesty of the songs.
In 2025, Kroger also appeared as a featured vocalist on Anchor Hymns’ single “Walk With Me / How Precious Your Presence,” alongside Caroline Cobb and Stefan Cashwell, further reflecting her connection to hymn-centered and contemplative worship expressions.
Woven with contemplative songs and corporate worship declarations, A New Reality invites listeners to see suffering, questions, and silence as meaningful parts of faith.
