Sean Curran Biography
Sean Curran is a worship leader, songwriter, and artist who has become a key voice in modern worship music. He first gained recognition as the lead singer of the Billboard-charting band Bellarive, signing his first record deal at the age of 22. In 2018, Curran launched his solo career by signing with sixstepsrecords/Capitol Christian Music Group, marking a new chapter in his musical career.
His debut solo EP, Bigger Than I Thought, was released in 2019 and introduced powerful worship songs such as “Bigger Than I Thought” and “Glorious Day.” He has since released a stream of well-received tracks including “Step Into the Light,” which debuted live at Passion 2019 in front of over 40,000 college students, and “1000 Names,” further expanding his reach as both a writer and performer.
Curran released his first full-length solo album, entitled Basic Faith, in 2024. The 12-track project showcases his continued evolution as an artist. His songwriting combines lyrical depth with an eclectic musical style, blending worship and artistic expression that explore songs about life, faith, and the mysteries of God.
Since 2017, Curran has been a regular worship leader at Passion Conferences and is featured on several Passion albums, including Follow You Anywhere, Whole Heart, and Worthy of Your Name. He has also toured with artists such as Kari Jobe, Cody Carnes, Crowder, and Rend Collective.
Curran lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with his wife Natalia and their two daughters. Together, they are part of Passion City Church, where Sean serves as a worship leader.
