Passion Biography
Passion, is a contemporary worship music band renowned for its integral role in Passion Conferences held in Atlanta, Georgia. The band exists to glorify God by uniting students in worship, prayer, and justice for spiritual awakening in this generation. Since their founding in 1997, Passion has impacted millions of students and young people, bringing transformation through the power of the Holy Spirit. One of the movement's most impactful aspects is the sea of voices uniting to lift up the name of Jesus, currently led by Kristian Stanfill, Brett Younker, and Melodie Malone.
The band has seen well-known worship leaders such as Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, Crowder, Christy Nockels, and more, collaborate in writing, recording, and leading worship at arenas worldwide. Beyond conferences, Passion's songs have become some of the most recognizable worship anthems of this generation. With over 1.8 million units sold, their chart-topping singles include "How Great Is Our God," "One Thing Remains," "Even So Come," and "10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord)," impacting listeners globally.
Songs like "Even So Come," "Salvation’s Tide Is Rising," and "Worthy of Your Name" have become timeless staples in the Church. Their latest live album, "Roar (Live from Passion 2020)," was digitally released on March 6, 2020. Passion, a four-time Dove Award-winning group, has had nine albums reach No. 1 on Billboard’s Christian Albums Chart, with three albums also reaching the Top 5 on the Billboard 200.
