Who is Fee?
The band Fee was a Christian rock and contemporary worship group from Alpharetta, Georgia, founded by Steve Fee and active from 2005 to 2010.
Prior to the band forming, Steve Fee independently released Sacred Space in 2003 and Burn For You in 2007 as a solo artist. After signing with INO Records, Fee released their major-label debut We Shine in 2007. The album produced the breakout hit "All Because of Jesus," which peaked at No. 2 on Billboard's Christian AC chart and No. 4 on Hot Christian Songs. Other notable tracks included "Glorious One" and the title track "We Shine."
Their 2009 follow-up, Hope Rising, continued the band's strong chart presence, featuring songs such as "Glory to God Forever" and "Everything Falls." Known for energetic live worship sets and congregationally accessible songwriting, Fee became a notable presence within late-2000s contemporary worship music.
In 2010, the band ceased touring and eventually disbanded after personal issues involving Steve Fee came to light. Despite a relatively short run, Fee's songs remain familiar within modern worship circles.
