LO CLOUD Biography
LO CLOUD is a Nashville-based indie rock band featuring Matt Hammitt (formerly of Sanctus Real), Nick de Partee (formerly of Kutless), and Jake Rye. With decades of experience in Christian music, they bring a fresh perspective to melodic rock, blending 90s and early 2000s influences with modern production. Their sound draws comparisons to bands like Jimmy Eat World, The Killers, Weezer, and Third Eye Blind, all while staying true to their faith-driven mission.
The band released their debut single "Sleepwalker" in 2024, a track they describe as "about finding the courage to recognize and accept the ways we've failed to fully live, so we can wake up to a life of greater intention, passion, and purpose." On January 3, 2025, they followed up with the single, "Live Today," which continues their signature blend of soaring vocals, powerful melodies, and introspective lyrics.
LO CLOUD's music explores the challenges and joys of life, conveying a message of hope grounded in faith and the belief that God's Grace makes every day an opportunity for renewal.
