Nash Revival Biography
Who is Nash Revival?
Nash Revival is lyricist Matt Soileau and a collective of vocalists, most notably vocalist/composer Brandon Chase, known for The Voice (Season 5, Team Blake). Brandon has received radio airplay as a vocalist in the past with the Christian group I Am They.
Since their formation, Nash Revival has earned recognition across both Christian and country music circles. Five years after Matt began writing, he and Brandon won the grand prize in the 21st Annual CMT/Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) contest for their marriage-themed duet, "I Do." Shortly after, their songs "So Help Me God" and "My Name Is Lazarus" won a SongU contest. Their track "One Light" took top honors in a ChristianSongwriting.com competition and received the "An Excellent Song We Want Everyone To Know About" award from another songwriting competition.
Nash Revival began independently releasing music on all major platforms in 2022, blending traditional and Texas swing-influenced country with coastal, beach-themed sounds. Their music is heartfelt, uplifting, and grounded in a shared foundation of faith.
Originally from Louisiana and now based in Spring, Texas, Matt Soileau discovered songwriting in his 40s after being inspired by a patient at the physical therapy clinic where he works. Having written for nearly 10 years, Matt's lyrics reflect a lifelong search for his divine calling, expressing his faith and life experiences. He lives in Texas with his wife of 25 years and their three children.
Brandon Chase, who lives outside of Nashville, anchors the collective with his extensive experience in contemporary Christian music and high-caliber vocal performance.
Matt's early musical influences include Switchfoot and Third Day, bands he discovered while studying in college. Their work opened the world of Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) to him, shaping the soulful, faith-driven sound that Nash Revival carries forward today.
