Zach Williams Biography


Zach Williams is an American Christian rock artist born on March 5, 1981, in Pensacola, Florida, and raised in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He began his musical career as the lead singer of the Christian rock band Zach Williams & The Reformation, formed in 2007. The band gained regional popularity until its disbandment in 2012. He was also the lead singer of the Christian group Zach Williams and the Brothers of Grace. In 2016, Williams pursued a solo career.

Williams released his solo debut album, Chain Breaker, in December 2016, featuring hit singles like "Chain Breaker" and "Old Church Choir." His music blends rock, country, and contemporary Christian elements.

His second album, Rescue Story, was released in 2019. Williams has received multiple awards, including a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for Chain Breaker in 2018. On September 30, 2022, Williams released his third album. A Hundred Highways. It includes the single, "Heart of God".
