Who is Zach Williams?

Zach Williams is an American Christian rock artist born on June 27, 1978, in Pensacola, Florida, and raised in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He began his musical career as the lead singer of the southern rock band Zach Williams & The Reformation, formed in 2007, which gained regional popularity before disbanding in 2012. Around that time, he also began leading worship and was involved with a group later known as Brothers of Grace.

In 2016, Williams launched his solo career with his debut album Chain Breaker, featuring hit singles "Chain Breaker" and "Old Church Choir." The album's powerful blend of southern rock, country, and contemporary Christian music earned him a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album in 2018. His 2019 follow-up album, Rescue Story, included the Grammy-winning duet "There Was Jesus" with Dolly Parton, which won the Grammy for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song in 2021.

Williams' music reflects his personal journey of faith, redemption, and resilience. His third studio album, "A Hundred Highways", released in 2022, further showcases his evolving artistry, blending heartfelt storytelling with messages of hope and transformation. He continues to inspire audiences around the world through his authentic sound and powerful live performances. His latest single, entitled "Jesus Loves" was released January 31, 2025.
