Rhett Walker Band, from Nashville, Tennessee, is known for their blend of Christian and Southern rock, and has released several notable albums.
Their debut studio album, Come to the River, was released under the Essential Records label on July 10, 2012, and reached No. 9 on the US Christian Albums chart and No. 154 on the US Billboard 200. The band's debut single, "When Mercy Found Me", achieved placement on Christian music charts and was nominated for a Grammy. Their follow-up album, "Here's to the Ones" (2014), peaked at No. 12 on the US Christian Albums chart. Rhett Walker's solo album, "Good to Me" (2020), charted at No. 49 on the US Christian Albums chart. The single "When Mercy Found Me" peaked at No. 15 on the US Christian Songs chart. Rhett Walker Band's singles "Believer" (2019) and "Gospel Song" (2021) both charted on the US Christian Songs chart. "Believer" reached No. 7, while "Gospel Song" peaked at No. 2.
Walker received a GRAMMY nomination for his very first single "When Mercy Found Me," and is a three-time GMA Dove Awards nominees (New Artist of the Year, Rock/Contemporary Album of the Year and Rock/Contemporary Song of the Year).
